Circa Ceramics

I've been a fan of Circa for a while now. I'm a clay junkie, and I have started to amass a nice little collection of ceramic pieces from useful objects (mugs and bowls) to not so useful (but beautiful) wall hangings. I haven't purchased from Circa Ceramics yet, but I have my eye on a large bowl of theirs. It will be mine, oh yes it will be mine...

Creative Thursday

Marisa Haedike is the creative force behind Creative Thursday. This L.A. based artist has such a whimsical style, so it's no wonder she's delved into the wonderful world of children's books. She has so many sweet little characters, I hope they each get to star in their own adventure!
I'm loving the night lights. Would it really be so wrong for a 37 year old to have a night light in their bedroom? I HAVE been reading Steven King agaan, so maybe yes???

Sugar Loop

Bernadette Sipkes is the talented artist from Auckland,New Zealand that creates these lovely prints, and for such reasonable prices!
I love the detail in her work, I could see two or three of them hanging together on a wall...
She finds her inspiration from in mid-century kitchenware, furniture and textile prints; vintage wallpaper; Scandinavian design; Florence Broadhurst; Lotta Jansdotter; Marimekko and; Lefor-Openo. She's a gitl after my own heart, I have a hearty appreciation for the same era of deign, and all things Scandinavian!

Jennifer Maestre

This is the most amazing use of pencils I've ever seen. I love it when I find something where I go, "How on earth did they do that?" The pencil urchins are just about the coolest things I've ever seen! She also makes pendants and BUGS!To see more cool pencil art, check out I bought one of her ACEO's. All I can say is WOW!
